  • What services do you offer?
    We offer private one on one lessons, day training, board & train programs, and behavior modification. Yes we do work with small dogs, large dogs, old dogs, young dogs, aggressive dogs, fearful dogs, you name it! We train service dogs as well but we do not train medical alert dogs (diabetic alert and seizure alert dogs)
  • What are the first steps to training?
    Our first step to training always begins with a free one on one evaluation. This evaluation is done so we can meet you and your dog, find out your goals for your dog, evaluate your dog's temperament, and give you accurate pricing for training. Where the evaluation will be held is determined by where you live! Maine - Our facility 121 Target Industrial Circle, Unit B, Bangor Maine 04401 South Carolina - Your Home (we come to you)
  • How much does your training cost?
    We base our pricing and programs off the individual dog, to get pricing we need to do an evaluation on your dog first, and at the end of the evaluation we will give you exact pricing for accomplishing your goals. We do this since all dogs learn and train at different levels. We want to offer the absolute best custom service to reach your goals We accept credit cards, cash, or check as payment. We do not offer payment plans. We do offer Law Enforcement and Military Discounts
  • What are your hours of operation?
    We take evaluations and lessons Monday - Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm and we are closed Sunday (Private lessons may be done on Sunday at the trainers discretion) Phones and Emails are answered Monday - Friday and screened Saturday & Sunday. If you call during business hours or even outside of business hours and do not get an answer please leave a voicemail so we can return your call. If it is an emergency we will return your call asap, if it is outside of business hours and an inquiry you can expect a call back within 48hrs (Monday-Friday)
  • How old does my dog have to be to start a training program?
    Puppy training is between the ages of 8 to 16 weeks, while formal dog training is 16 weeks and older. We train all dog breeds and ages!
  • What shots and vaccines are needed to train at No Xcuses K9?
    We require Kennel cough, Distemper/Parvo, and Rabies vacccines to be up to date and on record with us with our trinaing programs. This is for the saftey of your dogs and the dogs we have in training with us.
